On Saturday, May 6, 2023, the Unconfirmed Makeshift Museum joined the Repair Cafe organized by Sabine Kunrath and Rebecca Tuhus-Dubrow at the Community Center for Earth Day from 11am-2pm. UMM hosted a station for collage and miniature sign-making on a large round table, alongside other stations staffed by wonderful volunteer neighbors. Special thanks to Silas for volunteering through UMM’s Art Ambassador Youth Program. Here is the full schedule:
- 11am-2pm: Repair Cafe (bike repair, household appliance repair, mending, collage)
- 9am-11am: Shredding services
- 9am-1pm: E-Waste Drop-Off
- 9am-1pm: Basic Needs Food
- 9am-11:30am: CRV Recycling
- 9am-1pm: Salvation Army (for your donations)
- Free mulch available in the parking lot
